‘Safety in Hands’ campaign is currently underway. It involves conducting a presentation on the topic, followed by a playful activity. In this activity, the participants are divided into groups, and each group answers a multiple-choice exam with five questions (one for each finger) within a specified short time. Afterward, the results of each group’s exam are analyzed. A wrong answer corresponds to a finger injury, and the ‘winning group’ is the one with the fewest injured fingers. The concept conveyed is that lack of awareness, haste, distraction, etc., can lead to hand injuries. It’s worth noting that the winning group receives recognition in the form of gifts—both from Aramark (mugs) and our client (Barrick Gold), who contributes their acknowledgment (caps, thermoses).
The campaign aims to assess the knowledge acquired and identify any training or reinforcement needs across various safety topics. Additionally, it recognizes employees for their safety knowledge.”
