We realized that security was not only physical, but also had a large emotional component. For this reason, we began to carry out different events to strengthen the ties of the team so that they could get to know each other beyond the workplace. Additionally, within the Aramark Facility’s personalized virtual chat program, we introduced a prize called a “mystery box,” which contains various souvenirs of personal use. This prize allows the winning worker to choose a gift for themselves or share it with a colleague, or even accumulate it to donate to someone who needs it. This activity highlights the emotions of empathy, understanding and support, once again contributing to collective self-care.
To date, we have achieved 395 accident-free days, a testament to everyone’s commitment to safety and well-being at Aramark.
