In Spence Mining site, at the end of 2023 and the beginning of fiscal year 2024, we have a high accident rate. Because of this, we investigated in depth the real causes that led us to these events, one of them being the behavior of our staff.
This is how the pilot of the Behavioral Platform was created with a view to immediate action that additionally allows feedback in the moment, providing an instantaneous training element with the aim of modifying risky behaviors and reinforcing the safe behaviors of our staff in the work areas.
With this we are able to identify risky behaviors and generate action plans to reduce them. Identify trends to devise preventive actions and focus recreational activities to reduce risky activities and strengthen safe behaviors, in order to improve the performance of personnel in safety matters, influencing the reduction of accidents.
