A registered dietitian discovered that the information for a newly admitted resident in the PCC system was incorrect. According to the resident’s record from the hospital, they had an egg allergy, but this allergy was not listed in PCC. The dietitian informed the Director of Nursing (DON) and the food service manager about the mistake, in order to ensure the resident’s safety.
