Upon entering Gulfside’s facility the manager was facilitating a thorough in-service covering all of the safety topics that were discussed in my weekly call with the managers. Diego Rivera covered all of the topics and included personal stories of why these safety topics are important. The team members were engaged in the conversation. I completed a tour with the manager in which we saw immediate implementation of some of the topics discussed. Wet floor signs were utilized correctly, no chemical bottles were found not labeled on the carts and the chemicals were filled and being used correctly. I was extremely pleased with the manager’s encouragement of the safety topics that were discussed from my call. I am thankful for the SAFE mindsets that Diego and his team have. I thanked Diego and appreciated him for his leadership and commitment to safety.
