As supervisor I implemented a requirement that when a staff member is using a box cutter to always use a safety glove in order to prevent any cuts/injuries. By implementing this procedure, there has been 0 cases being injured by a box cutter. As well as using a log to make sure I know who is using the cutting blades each day in order to prevent it from being misplaced as well as knowing that all box cutters are secure.
