We have a monthly Health and Safety Representatives’ meeting in which we cover a Safety Moment; highlight hazards that have been logged with the site client Helpdesk; cover any action points from previous months; review the Safety Score Cards for the UK and Defence and the hours for individual components since the last lost work day; discuss recent incidents recorded on site and across the UK to learn from the incidents that occurred and how these could then be avoided by taking the appropriate action following Plan, Do, Check and Act. Information from the meeting is then cascaded down to the component teams by the Health and Safety Representatives to assist the teams in working more safely and avoiding any of the potential situations that resulted in the incidents.
