Our Regional Leadership team, including DM’s met in Louisville Kentucky a few years back, and created a renewed focus on safety including a set of region-specific metrics/goals. In conjunction with these goals, we revamped our safety interactions/calls to further increase participation. FY 22 saw a 3 year high Freq rate of 3.9. As we implemented our new focus, FY 23 Freq rate dropped from 3.9 to 2.8 accounting for a 28% drop. FY 24 is running slightly higher, but we are still expected to be well below FY 22’s actual.
