With the move to the new building I have noticed and witnessed many near misses from a metal door that lead from the parking lot to the loading (where my team is currently located). I also noticed a corner of the loading dock having a blind spot. I immediately reached out to building management and explained the two health and safety hazards. I was redirected to their security team who manages the health and safety program. After speaking to the security manager he agreed and in less than 3 weeks a glass insert was placed on the door allowing both incoming and outgoing views along with a concave mirror. I was very pleased how quickly they resolved the matter. I also learned these measures will be implemented on the second tower as well.
